What does it look like to build a “Trust Account” with God?
Abraham trusted God’s promise that he would become the father of nations and God credited Abraham’s “account” as righteousness.
“Abraham put his TRUST in God, and it was CREDITED TO HIS ACCOUNT as Righteousness” (Romans 4:3 CJB).
Every time we trust in God – He “credits” our “account” as an act of righteousness!
And every time we trust in Jesus, our TRUST ACCOUNT increases!
BECAUSE…When we trust in Jesus – We Experience Jesus as “Trustworthy.”
When we TRUST in the person and work of Jesus, we are building our house upon the ROCK.
A “Trust Account” on the ROCK of Jesus will not be destroyed when the storms of life – and the storms of this ever increasing “god-less” age – crash onto the shores of America, and into our own homes and the lives of those we love. Continue reading
“DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME…”
In 2004 I had the honor and privilege of experiencing Israel for the first time. And it was there, in the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, that the Lord opened my eyes to the significance of celebrating Passover each year.
As we took communion, and I pondered the words of Jesus, “Do this in Remembrance of Me,” I realized that it was during the Passover meal that Jesus spoke these words. In essence what Jesus was saying is –
“Now, when you celebrate Passover – REMEMBER ME, (1 Cor 11:24)“
Yeshua was INCLUDING His fulfillment of Passover – into the Passover celebration. Not fulfilling it in a way that we are no longer to celebrate a FOREVER ordinance of God! Continue reading
THE REAL PATRICK OF IRELAND
– Patrick of Ireland (c. 381 – 461) whose feast day we celebrate on March 17th.
First of all, Patrick was not Catholic and had no ties to the church in Rome.
Patrick Operated in the Miraculous – Dead Raising – Devil Conquering – Power of Elijah! – PREVAILING over the sorcery and witchcraft of the ancient druids.
Patrick is credited with raising as many as 33 people from the dead – including one horse! And, some of these people had been dead for years! Seriously. Years. Continue reading
TRUSTING JESUS is the “Righteous Acts” that Clothe The Bride on Her Wedding Day!
One morning Jesus shared with me that trust in Him is actually the “action” that clothes His Bride at the great Wedding Feast of the Lamb! (Rev 19:8).
While pondering the beauty of Jesus, and His love for me as His bride, I prayed through some of my favorite “bridal” Scriptures and two descriptive phrases of the bride jumped out at me that morning…
The first was the bride’s “fragrant oils” (Songs 4:10-11),
And the second was the bride’s wedding garment of “righteous acts,” (Rev 19: 7-9).
I personalized these Scriptures for my own life and asked Jesus this question:
“I feel today Beloved, You are drawing me to these issues – What are “my oils?” And what are the “righteous acts” You deem worthy to clothe me in?”
Here is what Jesus answered me: Continue reading
Elul – The Love-Song Month of Preparation!
We are once again in the wonderful Hebrew Month of ELUL. The unique 29-day period of time each year dedicated to reflecting, and renewing our love relationship with King Jesus.
In Jewish tradition, Elul is the month of the Love Song:
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” (Song of Solomon 6:3).
Elul is the time when the Jewish people liken God to a King who leaves His royal palace and comes into the field in order to meet with His people – to hear their hearts, and answer their petitions.
It is believed that Elul is the time of year – God Himself – is closer than any other time. This is the month to ask the King of Kings for everything you need! Continue reading
THE JEWISH FEAST OF PURIM
What is Purim?
Why is it important for Christians to understand this feast?
The story of Purim is found in the book of Esther. It is a beautiful story of the salvation of the Jewish people through the intervention of God and the courageous actions of Esther and her uncle Mordecai. Continue reading
God desires to spare us from unnecessary heartache, loss and pain – so He designs warning dreams to expose evil and temptation in our life.
Jesus taught us to pray – “Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil,” (Matt 6:13). Warning dreams are a major way God answers this prayer!
Read this warning dream – and its interpretation to see how this works. Our dreamer, Patty, has confirmed the dream’s interpretation – and has made a choice that will guide her into safety for her own life – and the lives of those who look up to her in Jesus. Continue reading
UNDERSTANDING GOD’S NIGHT-TIME PARABLES
God created the mystical conduit of dreams in order to communicate with people 24/7.
God actually fashions dreams – specifically for the dreamer!
“In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, God opens people’s ears and seals the matter…” (Job 33:15).
What has God fashioned for you lately?
What is He whispering to you while you slumber on your bed?
- Is He calling you higher?
- Is He revealing your destiny?
- Is He warning you of an impending disaster?
- Is He showering you with love, encouragement and comfort?
- Is He revealing issues in your soul that hinder His love & healing?
- Is He empowering you in the battle to overcome the schemes of the evil one?
God does all of this and more, through our dreams…
Yeshua, our Passover Lamb, has passed out of death into everlasting life! The ‘first fruit’ of the living – out from among the dead!
This is the joy we remember and celebrate during Passover, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday.
When I asked the Lord what He desired for me to write in this final blog of my “Passover Series,” I heard two words; “honor” and “hope.”
Then, the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me;
“My hope does not disappoint. My hope reveals what is – the ‘solid’ of eternity. My hope is tangible substance – The tangible reality of heaven released on the earth. In Me, you are HOPE RELEASED into the earth.” Continue reading
Today Is Good Friday, the day all of Christendom remembers and honors Jesus’ suffering and death upon the Cross of Calvary.
Today is also Erev Pesach – the Eve of Passover. The very night that Yeshua (Jesus) celebrated Passover with His disciples and instituted the New Covenant in His body and blood (1Cor 11:23-25).
TODAY IS THE PERFECT UNION OF “THE ONE NEW MAN!” AS BOTH SACRED HOLIDAYS UNITE IN CELEBRATION!
TODAY is the perfect day of celebration for the One New Man (Eph. 2:11-16). Messianic Jews and Gentiles – united – celebrating the Passover Seder. Both groups as one, celebrating and remembering our Blessed Redeemer Yeshua, our Passover Lamb.
Just now as I wrote the word TODAY for the fourth time – I am reminded of this warning, “Today, if you hear His voice, harden not your hearts,” (Hebrews 3:15; 4:7).
TODAY is a new day of revelation that Jews are to live as Jews – even after receiving Jesus as Messiah. And, Gentiles are not called to be Jews. Both are one in Jesus. Together we celebrate the biblical feasts of the Lord as laid out by God in the Torah. Continue reading
